Policy Reference - Browser Redirector

Edge Chromium Launch Parameters |
It is recommended that this policy is enabled only when required. The policy allows you to set pre-determined parameters which Edge Chromium will use when launched via Browser Redirector. Example:

Enable Edge UWP Application |
This policy is required to use Browser Redirector with Edge. When enabled, this policy installs the Ivanti Browser Redirector UWP application for each user. The application is required to redirect URLs from Edge via the Browser Redirector extension. |
Enable user defined default browser |
It is recommended that this policy is enabled only when required. When enabled this policy allows the user to select a default browser and configures Browser Redirector to use this choice as the default. The user's preferred browser value is stored in the key: HKCU\Software\Ivanti\Browser Management. |
Enforce default favorites to redirect |
It is recommended that this policy is enabled only when required. This policy enables URL redirection for any default favorites that have been configured. When enabled, any browser specific default favorites which have been specified will have their URLs redirected to the browser where the default favorite was defined. |

It is recommended that this policy is enabled only when required. The policy allows you to set pre-determined parameters which Internet Explorer will use when launched via Browser Redirector. Example:

Set Browser Redirector as default browser |
It is recommended this policy is enabled only when required. When enabled, this policy sets the Browser Redirector process as the default browser for each user session. Http and Https protocol requests are handled by Browser Redirector. If this policy is not enabled, clicking on URLs will not be supported as the Browser Redirector process needs to be defined as the default browser for this functionality to be enabled. The default browser can also be set using Group Policy setting as described in this Microsoft document. |
Specify Default Browser |
It is recommended that this policy is enabled only when required. When enabled this policy allows you to define the default web browser to use for the Browser Redirector feature. When this policy is enabled, it specifies the default browser in the user session. Where no redirection policies apply this will be the default browser used to open any URLs. Where a URL match is found Browser Redirector will launch the specified browser. Note that when no browser is specified or the specified browser is not installed, Internet Explorer will be used. Note, this policy has a prerequisite policy. |
