File Director Action
In this section:
File Director User Settings
The File Director User Settings action allow user-level File Director settings to be set and Session Variables to File Director paths to be created.
At logon, if the user is logged into the File Director client, Environment Manager sets the $(DataNowHome) Session Variable to the user’s File Director directory appended with ’\Home’. If the map point name for the home drive is not Home, an alternative map point name can be specified within the File Director User Settings action.
Further Session Variables can be set to File Director paths, such as the Documents and Favorites directories. Environment Manager Actions and conditions can be created easily using these Session Variables.
