Important upgrade information

This upgrade section contains functionality changes that have been introduced in Ivanti Environment Manager 2025.4 SP1.

When upgrading server and database infrastructure it is best to upgrade by no more than two major versions in each step. Upgrading three or four versions in one operation is not a method that has been tested and could produce unexpected behavior.

Microsoft Windows Server 2025 support

Ivanti Environment Manager, Console, Licensing Console and Agent components are all compatible with Microsoft Windows Server 2025.

Extended encryption coverage

Ivanti Environment Manager now expanded encryption coverage to secure all sensitive data at rest and during transmission, delivering stronger protection and compliance across the platform.

Due to encryption changes, Ivanti Environment Manager 2025.4 SP1 is delivered as a full MSI build instead of an MSP build. As a result, this release does not include an SP folder.

Enhanced personalization server compliance and functionality

The Ivanti Environment Manager personalization server now includes the following enhancements:

  • Strict profile management enforcement for improved compliance

  • Improve user identification across Active Directory (AD) and EntraID

  • Global personalization analysis

  • Support for long file paths to ensure reliable synchronization
