Important upgrade information
This upgrade section contains functionality changes that have been introduced in Ivanti Management Center 2025.4.
When upgrading server and database infrastructure it is best to upgrade by no more than two major versions in each step. Upgrading three or four versions in one operation is not a method that has been tested and could produce unexpected behavior. For further details relating to upgrades and compatibility please refer to the following Ivanti Community article.

Management Center Console and Suite Installer support for Windows ARM-based processor
The Management Center (MC) Console and Suite Installer now extends its support to Windows ARM-based processor, in addition to Windows x64-based processor, for both Management Center and Application Control deployments. While no specific Management Center Console and Custom installer features have been designed exclusively for Windows ARM-based processor, the core functionality of the clients, agents, and console components remains consistent across both Windows x64-based processor and Windows ARM-based processor.
-
In Clients and Consoles mode, if the endpoint device has a Windows 64-bit ARM processor, the Suite Installer will automatically deploy all relevant ARM supported binaries. Whereas in advanced mode for Windows Server installation, the Suite Installer will add both Windows x64-based processor and Windows ARM-based agent binaries and prerequisites to the MC server to ensure broad compatibility.
-
The Windows x64-based processor MC Console runs on 64- bit ARM processor using emulation mode, which deliveries the same feature set as on x64-based processors.
-
All deployment actions and agent operations are supported on ARM-based processor.
For more information, see Install the Deployment Agent on Managed Computers.
Encryption strength enhancements for UWM Suite
Encryption has been improved in this release. The RSA key length now supports up to 3,584 bits. All new installations will use a minimum RSA key length of 2,048 bits for enhanced security.
