Migration Status
In the Environment Manager Console, administrators can configure Profile Migration to:
- Import user profile data into the database from a local profile or network profile.
- Export user profile data from the database back into the local file system.

View Migration Status

To view the migration status, click Migration in the navigation bar.
The Migration Status page displays status of migration for Personalization Groups in a table with the following columns:
Column Description Name The name of the Personalization Group Description The description entered in the Settings of the Personalization Group. Migration Mode How data is migrated between the user profile and Personalization settings, for example Not Configured or Import from Local. Users in Group The number of users who have been assigned to the Personalization Group at logon. Migrated Users The number of users who have had data migrated for all assigned managed applications, Application Groups and Windows Settings Groups without conditions. Pending Users The number of users who have not been migrated or have been partially migrated. Migrated Items The number of application, Application Group or shared Windows Settings Group profiles that have been migrated. -
Select a group that has Profile Migration enabled to list the migration status for each user
The following data displays for each user:
Column Description User The user name. Domain Name The domain of which the user is a member. Applications % The percentage of managed applications and Application Groups that have been migrated. Shared Windows Settings Groups % The percentage of shared Windows Settings Groups with conditions that have been migrated. Conditional Windows Setting Groups % The percentage of Windows Settings Groups with conditions that have been migrated. Errors The number of settings that have failed to migrate. For example, this could be due to files locked by other applications. Endpoint The name of the endpoint on which the migration occurred. If the migration occurred on multiple endpoints, for example, due to Windows Settings Groups with conditions, the machine name is followed by an asterisk (*). Migration Time The local time at which the migration occurred. -
Select a user to list the status of each Application Group or Windows Settings Group.
The following data displays for each item:
Column Description Name The name of the application, Application Group or Windows Settings Group. Type The type of item - Application, Application Group or Windows Settings Group. State The state of the migration. For more information see Migration States .
Error The details of errors that occurred during the migration. Endpoint The name of the endpoint from which the migration occurred. Migration Time The local time at which the migration occurred.
Migration States
A migration can have the following states:
State | Description |
---|---|
Complete | The migration completed successfully. |
Not started | The migration is pending. |
Not required | The migration is not required because the data already exists. |
No includes | Application, Application Group or Windows Settings Group has no registry or folder inclusions. |
Forced complete | The migration has completed due to either a delete or an archive rollback. |
Error | An error has occurred during migration. |
Export Migration Status
To export the migration information for Personalization Groups, Active Directory Groups, and individual users, click Export CSV.
This downloads a comma separated value file of the information on screen.
