The Server Configuration Portal helps you configure, manage and troubleshoot AppSense servers and databases.
The installation of the AppSense Management or Personalization Servers is a two-step process. First, the AppSense DesktopNow Installer creates the required folders and copies the files to the correct locations. Second, the Server Configuration Portal (SCP) configures the server.
The Server Configuration Portal provides the functionality to:
· Connect Personalization Servers or Management Servers to existing databases.
· Create new databases.
· Configure the DesktopNow Servers.
Multiple Personalization Servers and Management Servers can be connected to the same database and managed via the Server Configuration Portal.
Changes in this release
The Server Configuration Portal web console replaces the Server Configuration Utility.
