Overview: mApp Support

An mApp is a bundle of CSM system definitions and merge instructions that allows for the transfer of definitions between databases and for merging functionality. A number of CSM mApp solutions and third-party integrations are available, and you can create your own. For more information, see About mApp Solutions and Integrations.

With the Cherwell Asset Management mApp, you can integrate Cherwell Asset Management’s IT asset data (including information on machines, configured software, purchasing, network devices, user logins, and more) into the Cherwell Service Management Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This makes it possible to view some data collected by Cherwell Asset Management from within Cherwell Service Management.
