Add/Change File Dialog Box

You can specify that certain files are included in inventory scans.

Getting There

To specify that certain files are included in inventory scans:

1. Select an option:
   • File name: Type the name of the file to include when inventorying machines.
   • Folder name fragment: (Optional) Enter the file location by typing in all or part of a folder name.
   • This file is runnable: Check this box if the file is runnable (starts an application); otherwise, leave this check box unchecked.
     You can only configure files that are runnable into license units.
   • Notes: (Optional) Enter information about why you want these files included in inventory scan.
2. Click OK.

This dialog box is called Add File when you are adding a file to the list of files to include in inventories, and Change File when you select an existing file in the Inventory These Files dialog box and select Change.
