Change Authentication for a Single Oracle Database Instance Dialog Box

Provide credentials to the single database instance you selected in the Configure Oracle Database Discovery dialog box.

Getting There

The fields in the top portion of this dialog box are populated using information collected during the Linux/Unix/Mac OS discovery or virtual environment discovery processes, and you cannot edit them.

1. The User name field is pre-populated, but you can change it if you prefer to use another account.
2. Enter the password for the user. You can also enter additional information in the Notes text box.
3. Optional but recommended: Before selecting OK to save your settings, select Test to open the Test Oracle Database Discovery dialog box, where you can verify that a connection can be established before proceeding.
4. Select OK when you're done.
