CAM Database Dialog Box

You can specify the CAM Database to which the CAM Administration Service should connect.

This topic applies to on-premises installations.

Getting There

To specify the CAM Database to which the CAM Administration Service connects:

  1. Select a database server, enter authentication information (normally the information that you specified when the database was created during Setup), select the database, and select OK.
  2. Choose a server from the drop-down list or type a server name, and then enter the appropriate login name and password. If you are using a non-default instance of Microsoft SQL Server for your database server machine, you must append a \ and the instance name to the server name. For example, if your database server is MYSERVER and you are running an instance called CAM, specify MYSERVER\CAM as the server name.
  3. To specify the database name, select from the drop-down list.
If the authentication data is not valid, no databases appear in the database name list.
