Discover Oracle Databases Dialog Box
Learn to configure and execute Oracle Database discovery.
Prerequisites
Before launching Oracle Database discovery, do the following:
- Run Linux/Unix/Mac OS discovery to find Oracle Database instances in these environments.
- Run virtual environment discovery. This process maps database instances that were found via Linux/Unix/Mac OS discovery to their virtual environments, and is necessary for gathering accurate licensing requirements.
If you haven't run network device discovery before, configure how it will run:
- Click Configure.
- Provide credentials for selected servers.
- When you've configured your discovery process, select Discover to run it.
