License Unit Template Advanced Tab

You can change how application versions are grouped.

In the Advanced tab of the License Unit Template dialog box, you can modify the Consolidate application versions by option.

By default, all versions of a given application (typically as specified by the file version of the main executable) are consolidated into a single license unit. You can change the default pattern if you want to group versions differently.
- for example, if you want each major version of an application to go into a separate license unit, you can change this pattern to "Major version (e.g. 1.*)".

Use caution when changing this setting. It determines how license units are created. If you change this and later decide that you want all versions consolidated, you will need to manually recombine them in the license units list.
