License Unit Template General Tab

You can specify the general default options to use when a new license unit is created.

You can always change these options later on any newly created license unit; the values you enter here are used as defaults.

If most of the applications you want to monitor are of one licensing type, specify that type in the Licensing list box. If you plan to meter most license units, check Enable metering for new license units.

Notes:

• You can only specify unmanaged or per-seat license types in the template. To specify other licensing types, you must modify the individual license unit.
• The Manufacturer, Category, and Notes fields are not shown because you can add this information for individual license units in their License Unit Properties dialog boxes. If defaults for these options were set here, they would apply to all license units.
