How to Add an Asset Manufacturer

You can add an asset manufacturer while you are adding an asset:

1. From the File menu in CAM Administrator, select New Asset.
2. In the New Asset dialog box, enter the name of the asset and fill in any other fields as needed.
3. Click Manufacturers.
4. In the Manufacturers dialog box, select New.
5. In the New Manufacturer dialog box, enter the manufacturer's name and then fill in as many of the other fields as you need to be able to identify the manufacturer.
6. Click OK.
7. Back in the Manufacturers dialog box, select OK to save the information.

   The manufacturer you just added will now be available to select whenever you add or modify an asset.
