License Unit Template

The license unit template contains default values for license unit properties. This template and the values it specifies are used whenever new license units are created. You can change license unit properties once the license unit is created, but the values in the license unit template provide the initial values for these properties.

When a file is recognized and automatically converted to a license unit, if the application's main executable name and file version do not match those of an existing license unit, a new license unit is created. Default values for the new license unit are taken from the license unit template dialog box.
