Network Device Groups

Network device groups are collections of network devices that you define. When you first start using Cherwell Asset Management, only the predefined network device categories (by device type, manufacturer, and so on) exist. Any groups you create are added to the list of categories to the left of the Network Devices panel.

You can use network device groups to help organize your devices in ways that make sense for your organization, and for use in filtering in reports.
