Problems with Data Schema Creation

 This topic applies to on-premises installations.

There may be cases where you install the CAM Database using the system administrator (SA) account and the correct password without a problem, but receive an error like, "Cannot open License Unit Template Table" when you start CAM Administrator. This means that the database was created, but the tables were not, and can happen for one of these reasons:

  • The CAM Database account already exists with a password that doesn't match what you entered during Setup.
  • SQL Server won't allow the account to be created.

To correct this problem, do one of the following:

  • Delete the existing account and re-run the Setup program to re-create it.
  • Re-run the Setup program and enter the correct password for the existing account.
