User Permissions for the Configure and Manage Software Characteristics Panels

Panels that a user does not have permission to access are not shown in CAM Administrator or the Status panel. The following user permissions are available for the Configure and manage software characteristics panels:

• View Configure and manage software characteristics panels
• Add, modify, or delete license units
• View or modify the license unit templates
• Automatically configure applications into license units
• Mark any unconfigured apps that you don't want to configure into license units
• Enable metering
• Configure control panels
• Add, delete, or modify license unit groups
• Organize files
• Run administrative reports related to license units
