How to Add a Contract Type
Contract types help describe contracts. You can add your own contract type, or use the defaults.
To add a contract type from the Preferences panel:
- From the CAM Purchasing console, select Preferences.
- From the Preferences panel, select Contract Types.
- On the toolbar, select Add Contract Type.
- Enter a name for the new contract type and select Save.
To add a contract type when adding a contract:
- In the Type field, select New.
- Enter a new name, or add one from the Preferences panel.
The new contract type now appears in the list, and you can select it whenever you add or edit a contract.
