How to Create Custom Order Fields

To create a custom order field:

  1. From the CAM Purchasing console, select Preferences.
  2. Select Order under the Custom Fields category in the left pane.
  3. Select Add Custom Order Field.
  4. Required: Enter a name, description, and type.
    If you want to create a List type of field, enter list values in the box that opens.
  5. Optional: Select the Required box if you want to require users to complete the field before they can proceed.
  6. Select Save.

The field you just added now appears in the list, where you can edit or delete it. The custom field will also appear on the screen where you enter orders.
