Custom Fields

Before you start entering purchasing information, you may want to create custom fields you can use when entering information. You can also use custom fields to hold order or line item data that you are importing from a spreadsheet.

You can set it up so that these fields are required or optional when someone adds information.

You can create the following types of custom fields. Click any bolded item for step-by-step instructions:

  • Contract: Any custom fields of this type that you create are available when you add or edit a contract.
  • Line Item: Any custom fields of this type that you create are available when you add a line item to an order.
  • Order: Any custom fields of this type that you create are available when you enter an order.

Once you've created custom fields, you can complete them as you add contracts, line items, and orders.
