Reminders appear on the Status panel when you first log into Purchasing to notify you of any items nearing expiration. The Status panel includes reminders for the following events:

  • Leases that are expiring or with buyout notifications
  • Contracts that are expiring
  • Maintenance agreements that are expiring, broken out by hardware and software

To address any reminder, select its hyperlink to go to the location where you can complete the task. You can change how many days ahead of time you are notified of each event (by default, for example, contracts are shown as expiring 90 days before their end dates) in the Preferences panel. You can also set up email alerts so that you are notified when an item is due for renewal.
