CSM 10.1.2 Release Notes: this list describes fixed issues that were reported in previous releases.

Business Object Design

  • CSM-67983 Widgets: Fixed an issue where unintended recursion could result in widget definitions that increased in size every time they were edited.

One-Step Actions

  • CSM-65944 One-Step Actions: Fixed issues within Run One-Step Actions and Run Action Block One-Step Actions with selecting One-Step Actions or Action Blocks that have been copied to a different scope.
  • CSM-68371 One-Step Actions: Fixed an issue where cloning a decision branch in a One-Step Action would corrupt any tokens that were cloned.
  • CSM-68375 One-Step Actions: Fixed an issue where text in the template area of a Create a Business Object or Update a Business Object sub-actions within a One-Step Action could be lost if the radio button was not explicitly selected.
  • DR 50484 One-Step Actions: Fixed an issue where parent One-Step Actions or Action Blocks could unexpectedly terminate after upgrading decision branches within child One-Step Actions.
  • DR 50055 One-Step Actions: Fixed an issue where users were prompted with a dialog stating that changes had occurred in the background to the Incident/form they were editing after performing an operation involving One-Step Actions.

Web Applications

  • CSM-67072 Browser Client: Fixed an issue that prevented users from viewing adaptive layouts when two or more users where viewing the same dashboard or form on different layouts.

Performance

  • CSM-66902 Performance: Fixed an issue that improved the performance of counters and the overhead they added to SQL Server.

Administration

  • DR 50177 Automation Processes: Fixed an issue where Automation Processes could fail if events were detected for cultures that were not present in the system.
  • DR 50280 Automation Processes: Fixed an issue in Automation Processes where field event steps within the process were not being evaluated correctly.
  • DR 50421 Service Host: Fixed an issue that corrected the startup of the EmailTrustedAgent when the Trusted Agent Server initially started, which was caused send email null reference errors. This fix is especially valuable if your organization uses a Trusted Agent server with a low CPU core count (1-2).
  • DR 50427 Application Service: Fixed an issue where a rare configuration of a Business Object form and its form arrangement could cause the Desktop Client to stop working when the user clicked on a form control outside of an embedded form just after editing a control value inside the embedded form.
  • DR 50594 SAML: Added support for special characters in SAML user IDs.

Cherwell REST API

  • DR 50495 REST API: Fixed an issue where the REST API's {{token}} endpoint no longer returned a 401 Unauthorized response when using Windows authentication and not supplying a username. This prevented an Open Web Interface for .NET (OWIN) challenge handshake from occurring, preventing the requestee from using the default credentials of the currently logged-in Windows user.
  • DR 50507 REST API: Fixed an issue where formatting was not being honored for rich text fields submitted via the REST API.

Miscellaneous

  • CSM-60081 Stored Values: User-specific stored values now work correctly when CSM is set up in Server Farm mode.
  • CSM-64435 Scheduled Items: Fixed an issue that sometimes caused scheduled items to stay in the queued state and not run if the items had reached their next run time before the Cherwell Service Host was started.
  • CSM-68326 Definitions: Fixed an issue where processes failed to pick up new or changed definitions. This could impact any of the CSM services (Cherwell Application Server, Cherwell Service Host, Browser, Portal, Cherwell REST API). If the Application Server was affected, it could prevent 3-tier connected clients from getting new or updated definitions.
  • DR 50475 Scheduled Items: Fixed an issue that caused duplicate or unusable scheduled items under a heavy load with long-running tasks.

Globalization and Localization

  • CSM-66704 Globalization: Fixed an issue where a culture meant for internal Cherwell testing (cherwell pseudo-locale) was included with the publically available product.
  • CSM-68048 Localization: Fixed an issue where specific Cherwell URLs were returning 404 errors unexpectedly when the Turkish culture was enabled.
