Configure a Personal E-mail Account

Personal e-mail accounts are configured in the E-mail Options window in CSM (Tools>Options>E-mail page). From here, customize a global e-mail account with personal settings or add a personal e-mail account for special circumstances such as sending e-mail from home or an off-site location.

Good to know:

  • The ability to define personal e-mail settings depends on E-mail security rights. If an e-mail cannot be added, edited, copied, or deleted or sent, talk to an administrator.
  • If an administrator has set up global e-mail accounts and made them available to Users for sending e-mails, these accounts are listed in the E-mail Options window (E-mail page) in CSM. If E-mail security rights have been granted, global e-mail accounts can be edited and the default settings customized with personal settings.
