About Change Requests A Change Request is a record that tracks the addition, removal, or modification of anything that could affect IT Services. These can include changes to architectures, processes, tools, metrics, documentation, and other Configuration Items. Change Advisory Boards (CABs) Normal and Emergency Change Requests require at least one approval by a Change Advisory Board. Change Management Workflows CSM offers three workflows based on Change types. Create a Change Request Normal Changes and Emergency Changes require steps to create a plan and gain approval from a Change Advisory Board (CAB). Standard Changes consist of pre-approved procedures and Tasks. Change Features CSM includes several tools to help manage Change. Change Models Use Change Models to pre-populate certain fields in Change Request forms.
