Import Data from External Databases
Import data into CSM by creating connections to an external database. Map a Business Object to the external connection, and then import data into the Business Object.
CSM and all Business Objects can be mapped to several external databases at one time.
To define the following external connections, open CSM Administrator, create or open a Blueprint, select , and select the Add button to open the External Connection Wizard:
- Data Source
- Provider
- Location of the database server
- Name/location of the database
- Login options (credentials)
- Owner/schema
- Pooling options
