Assign a Color Palette to a Chart Widget

Users can assign color palettes to chart widgets in the Widget Manager or Theme Editor.

Apply custom color palettes or change the default color palette of Chart Widgets.

Assigning a Color Palette to a Chart Widget in the Widget Manager

Publish a Blueprint to assign a color palette to chart widgets:

In CSM Administrator, select Create a new Blueprint.
Select Managers > Dashboards > Widget Manager. The Widget Manager opens.
Select the chart widget and then select Edit.
The Widget Editor opens.
Select Display from the Options pane.
Select a color palette from the color palette drop-down (example: Bright or Custom).
Select OK.
Repeat Steps 3-6 for any additional widgets.
Publish the Blueprint.

Assigning a Color Palette to a Chart Widget in the Theme Manager

There are two versions of the Theme Editor, the universal Theme Editor and the classic Theme Editor. The editor that opens when you edit an existing theme depends on which version of the editor the theme was created.

Publish a Blueprint to assign a color palette to chart widgets:

Classic Theme Editor

In the CSM Administrator, select Create a new Blueprint.
Select Managers > Themes. The Theme Manager opens.
Select a classic theme.
Select Edit.
The classic Theme Editor opens.
Select Dashboards from the Property Areas drop-down list.
Select the Dashboard widget chart palette field from the Charts section.
Choose a color palette from the drop-down list (example: Berry or a custom color palette).
Select Save.
The classic Theme Editor closes.
Close the Theme Manager.
Publish the Blueprint.

Universal Theme Editor

In the CSM Administrator, select Create a new Blueprint.
Select Managers > Themes. The Theme Manager opens.
Select a universal theme.
Select Edit.
The universal Theme Editor opens.
Select Dashboard Preview from the Preview drop-down list.
In Dashboard Properties, select a color palette from the Chart Palette drop-down list (example: Berry or a custom color palette).
Select Save.
The universal Theme Editor closes.
Close the Theme Manager.
Publish the Blueprint.
