Populate the Configuration Item Type RecID

To convert the Config - Not Inventoried records into the proper Configuration Item (CI) Type, you need to manually populate the RecID field within each CI Type record.

To populate the Configuration Item Type RecID:

1. In the Tools menu in the CSM Desktop Client, select Table Management.
2. In the Type drop-down list, select Configuration Item Type.
3. Open the first record.
4. In the Configuration Type drop-down list, select a different type, and then change it back to the original type.
   The Configuration Item Type RecID field displays at the bottom of the form.
5. Select Save.
6. Repeat steps 4 - 5 for all records in the table.
