Update Security Rights for Customer Portal Users
Update security groups to define view, add, edit, and delete rights.
To define security rights for Customer Portal users:
- In CSM Administrator, select Security > Edit security groups.
- In the Security Groups window, select Portal Customer in the Group drop-down list.
- Select the Business Objects tab.
- In the Business Object drop-down list, select Work Order.
- In the General section, select View, Add, and Edit.
- In the File Attachments section, select View, Add, Edit, and Delete.
- In the Work Order fields list, select New Field, and then select View and Edit in the General section.
- Repeat the previous step and substeps with the following Business Objects:
- Facilities - ID Badge
- Facilities - PPE Supplies
- In the Business Object drop-down list, select Work Order Type.
- In the General and File Attachments sections, select View.
- In the Work Order fields list, select New Field, and then select View in the General section.
- In the Business Object drop-down list, select Facilities Building.
- In the General and File Attachments sections, select View.
- In the Work Order fields list, select New Field, and then select View in the General section.
- Select Save.
- In the Security Groups window, select Facilities in the Group drop-down list.
- Select the Business Object tab.
- In the Business Object drop-down list, select Work Order.
- In the General and File Attachments sections, select Delete.
- Select Save, and then close the Security Groups window.
