Workspaces
Use the External Attack Surface > Workspaces page to manage EASM workspaces. In EASM, a workspace is a collection of assets assigned to a set of users. You can create as many workspaces as necessary. You may want to create workspaces based on department or geography. Data in a workspace is exclusive to that workspace and cannot be viewed by a user in another workspace. A "Default Workspace" is initially created for you.
Other pages and tabs in EASM let you select a workspace that you are a member of and that you want to view. When you select a workspace other than "Default Workspace," the views are limited to data from the selected workspace.
There are several permissions associated with EASM. Administrators are allowed all permissions. By default, Analysts can:
- View and export assets and exposures
- Move assets across workspaces
- View workspaces they are members of
Manage workspace permissions from Admin > Access Control, in the Attack Surface panel.
To manage users who can access a workspace
- In the External Attack Surface > Workspaces list, use the options menu ( ) next to the workspace you want to modify and select Add members or Remove members. Change the membership as necessary. When a user is a member of a workspace, they can select that workspace from the Workspaces list and view data from that workspace.
