Support Users
You can invite an external support technician to temporarily access your tenant.
- In the Ivanti Neurons Platform, navigate to Admin > Support Users.
Toggle On to enable this feature.
- On the Support Users page, click + Invite Support User.
- In Invite new support users, update the fields with the required information:
Enter the username and email address.
- Assign the desired roles and scopes.
- Set the expiry time for invited support users, as they have limited access.
To invite more than one user, click Add Another until you've added everyone you want to invite.
- Click Send Invitations. An email is sent to each address you provided, and each person is invited to log in.
- (Optional) To resend the invitation, select the user and click Resend invitation.
- (Optional) To delete the user, select the user and click Delete.
- (Optional) To assign scope, click Assign Scope and select either Device or People.
From the list of available scopes, select the required device or people, and click Add > Assign Scopes.
When the invitation is sent, the person's name appears in the Users list and the status is set to Invitation sent. After they log in for the first time, the status is set to Joined.

Access is granted for a limited duration.

Users can extend the access by clicking > Extend Expiry. You will receive a notification confirming the successful expiry extension.

Upon expiry, support users cannot log in again but will retain session access until it expires.
