Prerequisites for G Suite/Google Apps

You need to have the following before you can set up and configure the synchronization:

An authorized login for G Suite in order to access the Google Cloud Platform Developers and Admin consoles.

At least one active ProjectClosedInvolves a group working as a team to complete a long-term project that involves multiple component tasks. in the Google Developers console in order to access the APIs and other functionality necessary to set up the configuration.

GoldMine Connect installed on an IISClosedInternet Information Services. server in order to synchronize the Calendar with G Suite.

The IP address of the IIS server to access the GoldMine Configuration page if you are installing from another machine, (or use /localhost). Once GMME is installed you can access G Suite/Google Apps and the GoldMine configuration page from any machine.

A Google Cloud Platform account with Admin access for your installation.

To create an account go to: https://console.cloud.google.com.

We recommend that you install Chrome for ease of use with G Suite and other Google products.

Once the synchronization is configured and enabled you must start the GMGoogleSync service. You may set the service properties to start automatically. For more information on starting the service see Start and Configure the GMGoogleSync Service. We recommend performing the connection tests in order to ensure that your set up works.

IMPORTANT: Use the processes in the following topics to generate and link the Email address, Domain, Certificates, and API scopes to a specific service account. Any mismatch between the items, or incorrect entries will result in errors and cause the connection tests to fail.
