Synching the Calendar between G Suite and GoldMine

The following table shows which fields are synched between GoldMine and G Suite Calendar:

Displays any invited person whose email address also appears in the GoldMine DatabaseClosedA collection of data fields and related tables, storing information that facilitates access and retrieval..
Or, a user whose email is configured in both GoldMine and G Suite.

Create an Appointment/Event from G Suite Calendar

1. From the G Suite Calendar page enter a name for the Event
2. For the Where: field enter a location such as a meeting room or webex link etc.
3. Add a Reminder time.
4. Mark as Private or Public. Information about Private events cannot be seen by other users.
5. Invite other contacts by entering an email address under Add guests then click Add.

The event links to either Primary or secondary addresses entered in your GoldMine contacts. Primary and secondary email addresses are when you have a contact in GMPE with more than one email address. In this case no matter which email address is used, the appointment or event is still correctly linked with that contact.

6. Enter other information as needed the click Save. At the prompt click Send to send the invite.

7. The event will take a moment to sync to your GoldMine Calendar

Create an Activity/Event from GoldMine

1. From the GoldMine Calendar page enter a title in Reference
2. Enter any descriptions under the Notes: field.
3. Add Start Date, Time, Duration, and Alarm information.
4. Mark as Private if needed. Information about Private events cannot be seen by other users.
5. Invite attendees by moving the name from the User List to the SelectedUsers pane then click OK.
6. Enter other information as needed then click Save. At the prompt click Send to send the invite.

NOTE: Check the data mapping table Synching the Calendar between G Suite and GoldMine, to see which fields will update in GoldMine.

7. The activity will take a moment to sync to your G Suite Calendar.
