Creating Table Cell Hyperlinks

The process of hyperlinking a cell shown in a dashboard Table View is set up within the Data Binding for the Dashboard Part. In the case of a Table, the column must be linked to the record the GoldMine will use for the destination.

To Create Linked Table Cells

1.

Select the Table on the Dashboard.

2.

In the Properties area, locate the Data > Data Binding field.

3.

Click the ellipses button (...) to open the Table View Data Binding dialog box.

4.

Select a Bound field that you want to be a hyperlink.

5.

Uncheck the Visible option under Column Properties.

Normally, you will want to make this field invisible because it does not contain readable data.

Check Enable as hyperlink option.

7.

Select Primary Destination (see About Dashboard Link Data Destinations).

Select Field that identifies <x> record

9.

Click OK to save your changes.
