Using the E-mail Center

Use GoldMine’s E-mail Center to view, organize, and send your queued Internet e-mails. Some of the settings seen below can only be set by the Administrator or a user with Master rights.

Use the E-mail Center to:

■ Edit e-mail preferences (see Setting Options for the E-mail Tab)

■ Create e-mails (see Creating and Sending E-mail)

■ Send e-mail messages (see Creating and Sending E-mail)

■ Retrieve e-mail messages (see Retrieving E-mail)

■ Create and use e-mail templates (see Creating E-mail Templates)

■ Set e-mail rules (see Creating E-mail Rules )

■ Create distribution lists (see Creating E-mail Distribution Lists)

TIP: If you subscribe to more than one Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) mail server, you can set up the E-mail Center to retrieve mail from multiple Internet mail servers.

NOTE: If you are experiencing slow performance with contacts linked to many opportunities, you can adjust the MaxRegardingListSize value in the gm.iniI file.
