GoldMine Navigation Shortcuts

Use the following keyboard shortcuts in GoldMine.

■ Navigate between open modules. Press Ctrl+Tab.

■ Navigate within a module (between top panel and bottom tabs). Each of the following navigation items is some combination of Ctrl-Tab, Tab and the Arrow keys. These tools allow you to access every field and button shown on screen.

■ Navigate among the fields of a module. Use Tab.

■ Navigate Primary sections within the currently open module. Each module has unique features, but the following are examples of navigation:

○ Move through the Grid (in Activity ListClosed A list of task or event information displayed in a set of tabs., Contacts, and so on.) Use Tab or Arrows.

○ Move around editable fields in a Contact record, and Custom screen if open. Use Tab or Arrows

The Tab order is defined in Field Properties. If one of the contact field is editable, Tab goes to the next field and make this field also editable.

○ Move around editable fields in Case detail view. Use Tab or Arrows.

Tab should not be used to cycle between the tabs (for example, go from the Pending tab to the History tab).

■ Move in the Context pane. Use Tab, Arrows. Use Tab to move focus in or out of this area. Then use Arrows to move up or down or side to side in the panel.

■ Move within the Navigation panel. Use Tab or Arrows

■ Move between the top-level toolbars (excluding Menu bar). Use Tab.

■ Move within the Menu Bar. Use Alt.

■ Scroll between contact record tabs (Pending, History and so on.) Use Ctrl.
