Change State Transitions Reference
Administrators can create additional statuses to meet the business needs of your organization.

The change requester requests change by updating the status to requested (or done by quick action). |

The change requester cancels the change by updating the status to canceled (or done by quick action). |
Proposed | Optional. Use when the change require financial approval. Attach business cases and scope of change documents when in this state. | |

Pending Approval |
The Change Manager reviews the change and updates the status to pending approval, which triggers the change approval workflow (for certain change types). |

Denied |
The Change Manager reviews the change and updates the status to denied. |
Requested |
Canceled |
The Change Manager cancels the change request. (The change cannot be canceled by the requester after it is requested.) |
Pending Approval |
Denied |
The change is denied by the approvers (depends on the Get Approval block for the approval, if all approvers must approve for a change to be approved). |
