About the Task Workflow Block

The Task workflow block assigns a task to an employee or team, including task priority and timelines.

This workflow block only supports Profile.Employee (legacy default content) or Employee (MCT default content) as the assignee. Hence, the only team supported is StandardUserTeam. This block does not support other MCT user types, such as External_Contact.

This workflow block does not support the use of functions or expressions, except for limited support for the Task Summary and Task Details fields. If you need to use functions or expressions, use the Extended Task workflow block. See Extended Task Workflow Block.

For the Task Summary and Task Details fields, you can use context business object field expressions but not functions.

If you edit a calculation rule for the Employee business object and if the field name is set to DisplayName and you check Also Recalculate On Load, if you open the Task workflow block, the application throws an error. To avoid this error, do not check Also Recalculate On Load.

Also Recalculate on Load Option
