Returns the value for the hour of the day for the local date.

Syntax

LocalHour(utcDateTime, timeZone)

Parameters

utcDateTime (Optional) The DateTime value for which to find the hour of the day.
timeZone

(Optional) The time zone, in IANA format. If you do not specify a time zone, the application uses the time zone associated with the current session.

Return Value

Number between 0 and 23.

Example

$(LocalHour())

If today is Wednesday April 10, 2014 at 13:45:26 in the current time zone, this function returns 13.

 

$(LocalHour(CreatedDateTime))

Returns the hour of the day in the current time zone when the incident was created.

 

$(LocalHour(CreatedDateTime, "Antarctica/South_Pole"))

Returns the hour of the day in the Antarctica time zone when the incident was created.
