Before you deploy Neurons for ITSM, it is important to map out your Neurons for ITSM structure. You need to plan the following:

•Organizational structure of personnel and departments using the application, including their job tasks and any security restrictions that need to be applied.

•Workflows that are required to aid application users in performing their tasks.

•Data security and infrastructure.

Planning Your Deployment

Plan your deployment before using the Application Setup wizard.

It is important to plan your deployment as much as possible before running the Application Setup wizard. This wizard is where you initially configure account information, customer information, customized business processes, the Self-Service Portal, users, groups, roles, and tenants. After running the wizard, you can modify these configurations within the Settings workspace.

We strongly recommend you use imaps or HTTPS rather than VPN. VPN is more error prone and less reliable than other communications.
