I'm getting a message that synchronizations are failing.

Problem:

Your firewall may not be configured to allow syncs.

Workaround:

Make sure that your firewall is configured to allow inbound and outbound communication with cloudapi.lumension.com over TCP ports 80 and 443. Consult your firewall documentation for instructions on how to make these configurations.

When I try to view a HEAT PatchLink DeskTop for System Center view in SCCM, the view doesn't populate with data.

Problem:

The HEAT PatchLink DeskTop for System Center service has crashed.

Workaround:

Wait a few moments to let LM.SC.PM.DT.Server.DeskTopServerService recover automatically, and then restart System Center Configuration Manager. If LM.SC.PM.DT.Server.DeskTopServerService doesn't recover on its own, take the following steps from your HEAT PatchLink DeskTop Server:

  1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del.
  2. Open Task Manager.
  3. Select the Services tab.
  4. Find LM.SC.PM.DT.Server.DeskTopServerService.
  5. Right-click it and select Start Service.
  6. Reopen System Center Configuration Manager.
