General

The General tab has parameters that control the name and appearance of the view part. The parameters displayed depend on the option selected in the Type field (Table, Bar, Pie, Tracking graph, Image, or Text).

View Part Name - This name displays only on the configuration pages of the Management Portal.

View Label - The label that displays above the view part in the Web Statistics UI.

Type - The depiction of the data in the view part (Table, Bar, Pie, Tracking graph, Image, or Text). When you select a type, parameter fields specific to that type appear.

Style - The style you want to apply to general text on the view part. If you select No Style, Web Statistics will use the browser style.

Header Style - The style you want to apply to headers on the view part. If you select No Style, Web Statistics will use the browser style.

Modify Style - The style you want to apply to data that changes on the view part. If you select No Style, Web Statistics will use the browser style.

Target Style - Then style you want to apply to target data. If you select No Style, Web Statistics will use the browser style.

Object Size - The size (either in pixels or as a percentage) of the view part Type that lists the statistical data (applies only to tables, bar charts, and pie charts).

Metric Size - The size (in pixels or as a percentage) of the table column (applies only to tables).

Direction - The direction (Vertical or Horizontal) in which the table lists the object data. For example, the following screen shows the Group Averages table set to Horizontal. The objects, which are agent groups (Customer Service, Technical Support, and Sales), appear horizontally across the top of the table (applies only to tables).

Text rows in Header - Expands the height of the table header to allow multi-line labels or to increase margin around labels (applies only to tables). Value can be a whole number (example: 1 which is equal to the height of one row) or a decimal (example: 1.5 which is equal to the height of 1 and ½ rows).

Text rows in Data - Expands the height of a data row in the table (applies only to tables). Value can be a whole number (example: 1 which is equal to the height of one row) or a decimal (example: 1.5 which is equal to the height of 1 and ½ rows).

Vertical Labels - Select Yes if you want to display the vertical table headers; select No if you want to hide the vertical table headers. Hiding the vertical table headers causes the first column to show the values of the first metric instead of the vertical table headers. This is useful, for example, if you want to display the first and last names of agents instead of their login names (applies only to tables).

Legend Direction - The location of the legend in relation to the graph or chart (applies only to bar charts, pie charts, and tracking graphs).

Point Time - The interval (in seconds) Web Statistics waits between drawing points on the tracking graph; i.e., when the data displayed in the tracking graph is updated (applies only to tracking graphs).

Max Value - The highest value on the Y axis of the tracking graph (applies only to tracking graphs).

Min Value - The lowest value on the Y axis of the tracking graph (applies only to tracking graphs).

Dimensions Count - The number of intervals on the Y axis (applies only to tracking graphs).

Aggregation Type - The way in which the tracking graph reflects the statistical values that occur during the Point Time interval. Configure Web Statistics to draw the minimum, maximum, or average value for each Point Time interval (applies only to tracking graphs).

Use Working Time - If unchecked, Web Statistics uses the Point Time value as the time interval. If selected, Point Time is ignored and the interval expressed by the Start Time and End Time fields is used.

Start Time - If you do not specify a start and end time for the tracking graph, Web statistics will default to actual time: the time the View is opened in the UI (applies only to tracking graphs).

End Time - (applies only to tracking graphs).

Scrollable - Check this box for scrollable text (applies only to the Text Type field option).

ViewPart Objects - Click the Manage Objects button to select the statistical category for this view part: Agent, AgentGroup, Service, or ContactCenter. Multiple ViewPart Objects can be selected (at least one object must be selected).

When the General Tab Configuration is Complete:
