Network Settings

To Configure the Voice Server IP Settings:

1.On the Management Portal menu window, click System Configuration > Voice Server. The SIP Configuration page opens.

2.In the Endpoint Information section, check the following fields and correct any inaccuracies:

  • Server's Telephone Number - The telephone number of the voice server, which the voice server uses as the calling party number for outbound Ivanti Voice calls.
  • Local SIP UDP Port - The SIP voice server port number. The voice server binds only to the IP address assigned to the hostname—not to all host IP addresses (that usually excludes localhost). Update this field if needed.

3.In the Primary SIP Switch Host section, if you are using an external SIP server, select the Use external check box, and configure the server settings:

  • Host - The numeric IP address or resolvable domain name of the primary SIP switch. You can use the SIP switch on the host computer, or another switch in your configuration.
  • Port - The UDP port of the primary SIP switch.
  • SIP Domain - The domain of the primary SIP switch.

4.If you are using an external backup SIP switch, select the Use external check box, and configure the server settings in the Backup SIP Switch Host section:

  • Host - The numeric IP address or resolvable domain name of the secondary SIP switch. You can use the SIP switch on the host computer, or another SIP switch in your configuration.
  • Port - The UDP port of the secondary SIP switch.
  • SIP Domain - The domain of the secondary SIP switch.

5.In the SIP Registration section, check the following fields and correct any inaccuracies:

  • Register with SIP Registrar - Select this check box if you want the proxy server to register with the SIP registrar.
  • Registration Interval field - If you select the Register with SIP Registrar check box, enter the number of seconds you want to lapse before the proxy server registers with the SIP registrar.

In order for this field to take effect, you must select the Register with SIP Registrar check box.

6.In the SIP Authentication section, enter the username and password necessary to access the SIP registrar. If the SIP registrar does not require a username and password, leave the fields blank.

7.Click the Update and Commit Changes buttons to enact your changes.

Use the Reset to Default button to reset the values in all fields in the page to the default values programmed in the Management Portal.
