Auto-Start Option
You also use the Management Portal to configure the voice server to start automatically. Autostart is enabled by default.
To Set the Voice Server to Auto-start:
- On the Management Portal menu window, click System Configuration > Voice Server > Advanced Configuration. The Voice Server Advanced Configuration page opens.
- In the Auto Start area on the General tab, select Yes if you want the voice server to start automatically; select No if you do not.
- Click the Update and Commit Changes buttons to enact your changes.
Ivanti recommends you configure the voice server to autostart: autostart is enabled by default.
Server Name Change Option
The Ivanti Voice installation wizard creates default names for the following components:
•Contact Center server
•SIP Soft Switch (also referred to as the SIP server)
•SME server
•Voice server
•License server
•Media server
Each default name has the format <component> on <host_machine>. For example, the default name of the voice server running on a host computer named Primary is Voice Server on Primary.
Server names appear on the Management Console. You can use the Management Portal to change the name of the voice server and Contact Center server (refer to Contact Center Server Configuration). You cannot use the Management Portal to change the name of the other servers.
To Change the Name of the Voice Server:
1.On the Management Portal menu window, click System Configuration > Voice Server > Advanced Configuration. The Voice Server Advanced Configuration page opens.
2.In the Name field, type a new name for the voice server.
3.Click the Update and Commit Changes buttons to enact your changes.
