SIP-Enabled Desktop Phone Configuration
Configure these settings (if present) on each agent’s SIP-enabled desktop phone. Refer to the instruction manual included with the phone as necessary.
•Static IP address
•Subnet mask
•UDP/TCP port (usually 5060)
•Default gateway - Needed when calling/called parties are on different TCP subnets.
•SIP proxy address and port - Set according to the SIP Proxy configuration.
•Secondary SIP proxy address and port - Set according to the SIP Proxy configuration, or to the address and port of a secondary proxy if you have one.
•Outbound proxy - Set to SIP proxy address.
•Registrar - Set to the SIP proxy address and port.
•User, number, or address - Set to the telephone number for the phone as specified in the dial plan.
•User name and password - The values defined in the proxy dial plan for this endpoint. You do not need to use these fields if you did not specify a username and password for this endpoint in the dial plan.
