Viewing Log Messages in the Management Console
The Events Log on the bottom of the Management Console displays two types of log messages: error and panic messages. Use the Events Log to detect critical Ivanti Voice errors and monitor recent server activity.
If the Events Log does not appear on your Management Console, select View > Events Log.
The Events Log has two tabs:
•Applications tab - Displays the following attributes of all Ivanti Voice Panic and Error log messages:
•Time - The time the log message occurred.
•Computer - The computer generating the log message.
•Code - The hexadecimal log message code.
•Application - The Ivanti Voice component generating the log message.
•Message - A brief description of the log message.
•Console tab - Displays the following attributes of log messages concerning the connection between the Management Console and Ivanti Voice host computer:
•Time - The time the log message occurred.
•Computer - The computer generating the log message.
•Code - The hexadecimal log message code.
•Message - A brief description of the log message.
To View Message Details:
•Double-click a log message in the Applications tab to view additional details about the event, such as the path to the executable file of the application generating the log message, and the method that triggered the generation of the log message.
To Clear the Log Messages from a Tab:
•Right-click in the tab and select Clear from the context menu.
