GMEE Update Block

The GMEE Update block updates fields in the GMEE database.

This block is for use only with Ivanti Voice/GMEE configurations. For details, refer to Ivanti Voice/GMEE Configuration.

Conditional Exits

The GMEE Update block has one conditional exit (Update Failed) which directs the flow of Ivanti Voice if the database update does not succeed.

Settings

Configure the GMEE Update block settings:

  • Label - Change the name of the block if needed to uniquely identify the use of this block in the application flowchart.
  • GMEE Connection - The name of the GMEE database connection. The drop-down list contains the name of available GMEE database connections.
  • Table - The name of the GMEE database table to update. Click the Browse button next to the field to access the Table Name dialog box and select one of the following tables:
    • CONTACT1
    • CONTACT2
    • CONTSUPP
    • CAL
    • CONTHIST
  • Field - The field to use as the search key to find the record to update.
  • Field Value - The value of the field to use as the search key to find the record to update.

Fields to Update

Use the Fields to Update table to specify the fields and values to be updated:

  • Field Name - The name of the field you want to update. Click the Browse button next to the field to open the Field Name dialog box and select a field.
  • Field Value - Enter the name of the interaction property containing the value for Ivanti Voice to use to update the field.

To add fields and values to the table, click the green + icon.

When configuration for this block is complete, click the Update button to apply the settings.
