Transfer Call Block
Transfers the call to specified number. The voice application relinquishes control of the call without waiting for the call destination to receive the transfer.
The Connect Call block also facilitates transfers; however, the Transfer Call block is more economical for transfers. The Connect Call block does not cause the voice application to relinquish control of the call, allowing the transfer to occupy two SIP gateway ports until the call terminates.
Settings
The Transfer Call block has the following settings:
•Label - Change the name of the block if needed to uniquely identify the use of this block in the application flowchart.
•Default Destination (Required) - The default phone number to which the voice application connects the call if the Destination interaction property (created by the Route to Agent block) and Override Destination field are empty.
•Override Destination (Optional) - The phone number to which the voice application connects the call. This number overrides the Destination interaction property (created by the Route to Agent block) and the default destination phone number (set in the Default Destination field). Leave this field blank if you do not want to override the Destination interaction property and default destination phone number.
•PBX Prefix - The number to prefix to phone numbers to access an outside line as specified in the dial plan.
When configuration for this block is complete, click the Update button to apply the settings.
