Installation of the Client Components

Every computer that is part of the software management solution (i.e., every managed computer) requires local program components. These components make up the DSM Client. The client's most important task is the automatic execution of packages - for software installation or for client management.

An unmanaged computer becomes a managed computer when the DSM Client has been installed, when the computer has been subsequently assigned to a site and synchronized with the DSMDB.
The client components are installed either with a batch file that is called in the login script or by using an interactive command.
