Using and Saving Filters

How to use filters:

  1. Open the list of objects you want to filter in the Object window.
  2. Select Create filter and specify the conditions you want to apply to the selected objects.
    You can also select Saved filters and select the filter you want to apply.
  3. Specify the conditions you want to apply to the selected objects.
    The filter is applied to the object list immediately.
  4. Use the following commands for filters:

    5. Command/Option Effect
    Active Enables or disables the filter without removing if from the display.
    Edit filter Edits the filter.
    Delete saved filter Deletes a filter that was saved before completely.
    This command is only available if you select a command that has been saved before.
    Save filter Saves the filter.
    The filter is saved in the settings of the logged-on user and is only available for this user.
    Reset filter Removes the filter from the display.
